Privacy Notice

1. Controller

We have not appointed a data protection officer. For any data protection question, write to us at global@renexus.hu.

2. Quote requests and contact (form, email)

• What data we process: your name, email address, the topics you ticked, your note (if you add one), the page you sent it from, and when you sent it. For enquiries by email, the details of the email.
• Purpose: answering your enquiry, preparing an offer and the communication this requires. After sending, you get a short confirmation email at the address you gave.
• Legal basis: if you ask for an offer on your own behalf, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). If you contact us on behalf of a business, our legitimate interest in establishing business contact with that business (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); you can object to this at any time.
• Retention: if no contract is concluded, 1 year from closing the enquiry, after which we delete it. If a contract is concluded, the correspondence becomes part of the contract records and is kept for the period that applies to the contract.
• Is it required: without your name and email address we cannot reply; the other fields are optional.

3. Server logs

• Data: IP address, time of the request, the address of the page opened, browser identifier (user agent), error codes.
• Purpose: operating the website securely, detecting and preventing attacks and abuse.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: up to about 15 days, after which they are deleted automatically. In case of a security incident, we may keep the relevant part of the logs until the incident is closed.

[TO BE CHECKED] The outfit of the Vincent figure on the website follows the local weather. For this, our server determines your city from your IP address using its own, locally run database; your IP address is not sent to any outside provider. We query the Open-Meteo weather service with the rounded coordinates of the city. Coordinates are not stored, the result stays in the server's memory for up to 20 minutes, and your browser only receives the type of weather.

4. Cookies

The website does not use cookies and contains no third-party tracking or analytics code. Your browser's local storage holds a single entry (rnx_wx_opener): the time Vincent last greeted you with the weather, so he does not repeat it within 12 hours. It is never sent to us.

5. Who has access to the data

• Staff of RENEXUS SYSTEMS Kft. who handle the enquiry.
• Processors: RackForest [TO BE CHECKED: Kft. or Zrt.] (1132 Budapest, Victor Hugo utca 11. 5. em., Hungary): hosting of the website and server; Google (Google Workspace email service) [TO BE CHECKED: the contracting Google entity and the Workspace subscriber]: delivery and storage of the emails sent from the form.
• We do not sell the data to third parties or pass it on for marketing. We disclose data to authorities or courts only where the law requires it.
• Some Google services may involve transfers outside the EEA; Google LLC participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access your data, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted; you can object to processing based on legitimate interest; and you can ask for data processed under Article 6(1)(b) in a machine-readable format. We reply to your request within one month at the latest. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Remedies

You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH; 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; www.naih.hu), and you can also go to court. We ask you to write to us first at global@renexus.hu, as we may be able to sort it out faster.
